Two Roads Development and Alpha Blue Ventures have officially broken ground on Forté, a new 24-story waterfront residential building at 1309 South Flagler Drive in West Palm Beach. The ceremonial event occurred on Thursday March 3, 2022, which was was attended by elected officials, community representatives and future residents. Designed by Bernardo Fort-Brescia of Arquitectonica with interiors imagined by Jean-Louis Deniot, the condominium development will boast 41 luxury residences spanning anywhere between 4,200 to 8,400 square feet, configured in three- and four-bedroom floor plans and a crown jewel six-bedroom penthouse spanning 8,900 square feet with an additional 2,000-square-foot private rooftop deck which includes a pool, summer kitchen, cabana bath and unmatched 360-degree views. Over 80% of Forté’s residences have sold, with a majority of the buyers coming from markets across the domestic U.S.

Forté’s sleek design will boast only two residences per floor, each with sweeping views of Worth Avenue, the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean. Buyers have the option to combine residences for a full-floor home. The tower can be described as a cylinder-shaped superstructure with minor concaves on the east and west elevations, rising approximately 300-feet over South Flagler Drive. Residential levels will be enveloped in floor-to-ceiling glass with hints of aluminum accents, topped with a louvered wood trim parapet crown. Residents and guests alike will be welcomed by a grand landscaped motor court leading up to the entrance where massive exposed perimeter columns pierce through the 2nd-story outdoor terrace, subtly flowing up into the building.

“Our success at the groundbreaking is the direct result of the hard work and collaboration between the various teams working tirelessly to bring this project to life, from the creative minds and designers to the West Palm Beach community and real estate leaders,” said Taylor Collins, managing partner of Two Roads Development. “The strong buyer market we’ve seen for Forté’s inspired design and breathtaking views is a testament to the value it offers to this community.”

  1. Two Roads Development is suing South Flagler House’s developers to stop construction, go figure. Instead of having competing neighboring luxury towers under construction in a competitive market, they prefer the inferior product they are selling be next to decaying 1950s apartment buildings formerly used by PBA as dormitories and not elegant RAMSA-designed mansions in the sky. Two Roads can’t even acquire the dentist office holdout for what is likely in the way for a second tower, so I would be surprised that’s a reason for the spite suit.
