AHS Old Cutler To Offer Workforce Housing Units in Miami-Dade County, FL

AHS Old Cutler is currently undergoing construction in Miami-Dade County, Florida. Contractors started working on the residential complex in Summer 2022. Upon completion, the development will offer 390 homes across eight three-story buildings. Of the 390 homes, all of them are one-bedroom units.

In 2020, the South Florida Business Journal reported that the workforce housing units would measure about 600 square feet to 860 square feet each. The homes are set aside for those making up to 140 percent of the area median income. Amenities include a swimming pool, private parking, fitness center, and two clubhouses. The premises will feature over 600 parking spots.

The community will offer 390 units.

AHS Residential owns the venture and presently has 15 active projects in Georgia, Texas, and Florida. It acquired AHS Old Cutler’s build site for $4.5 million in 2019. It was previously designated as agricultural land. The developer notes that the community could open in July 2023.

Records from the City of Miami show that AHS Old Cutler has been in the works since 2020. The goal is to provide accessible housing to those living in South Florida. AHS Cutler’s address is Southwest 216th Street to Southwest 228th Terrace, Miami, Florida, 33190, in Miami-Dade County.
