Developers hope to move forward with the Evergreen Townhomes, a multi-million-dollar residential development. Right now, the venture’s still in its infancy. However, when completed, it’ll offer 40 units across seven two-story buildings. Each three-bedroom home will measure about 1,056 square feet each.
According to the South Florida Business Journal, the community will offer a host of amenities, including a children’s playground and gazebo. The property will also feature 123 parking spots, with many of them being in garages. Palm Beach County records note that 43 of those spaces are set aside for visitors.
The venture will also offer seven affordable housing units, aimed at those making up to 140 percent of the area’s median income. Evergreen 1, LLC is managing the project. It acquired the vacant 4.52-acre plot for $430,000 in 2016. Atlanta Engineering Services, Inc. is the project’s civil engineer.
Demand for affordable housing is high in Palm Beach County right now. The Palm Beach Post notes that in 2021 alone, rent increased by 37 percent, especially in Boca Raton and Del Rey. At this time, the cost of living at the Evergreen Townhomes is not known or publicly available.
The Evergreen Townhomes’ address is 2869 Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Florida, 33417, in Palm Beach County.
