In early 2021, developers received permission from the Miami Beach Historic Preservation Board to start construction on a new high-rise venture. Per the Real Deal, the 221-foot-tall tower will offer 56 hotel rooms and 23 luxury condos. Originally, the Aman Hotel and Residences was going to measure 250 feet above grade, however, that changed.
The 16-story tower will require over 200,000 square feet of new construction. Plans also require that the general contractor renovate the Versailles, a 16-story tower that closed in 2013. The new venture will replace an addition made in the 1950s. Amenities include a swimming pool.
Access Industries and OKO Group are the owners. The venture has three architects: RJ Heisenbottle Architects, PA, Revuelta Architecture International Inc., and Kengo Kuma and Associates. They are located in Coral Gables, Miami, and Tokyo, respectively. Suffolk Construction Company Inc. is the general contractor.
OKO Group has high expectations for the venture. It notes that the Aman Hotel and Residences will “strengthen Miami Beach’s appeal as one of the world’s most desirable places to live and visit.”
The Aman Hotel and Residences’ address is 3425 Collins Avenue, Miami, Florida, 33140, in Miami-Dade County. Sources note that the project could end construction by 2023.

I believe the General Contractor is the Ant Yaoi Civic Construction Joint Venture. Not Suffolk
So that is going in behind, or to the east of the Versailles?
