Eden at Heritage Lakes could start construction in December 2022, sources report. The $108.4 million venture would comprise more than 380,000 square feet of new construction, offering 278 one-story horizontal apartments and 98 two-story townhomes. The venture is presently unfolding in West Melbourne, Florida.
The Class A development would rest on a 27.5-acre lot. Per the development’s website, Eden at Heritage Lakes is just one part of a larger mixed-use venture that would offer both retail and for-sale homes. Multifamily Press reports that communal amenities include a fitness center, walking trails, and a gated dog park.
Eden Multifamily owns the venture. Located in Coconut Grove, Florida, the firm presently has six developments across the Sunshine State, including Eden Arlington in Jacksonville. It selected West Melbourne for the development because of its economic growth.
Prosser Inc. is the landscape architect, and BSE Consultants, Inc. is the civil engineer. Sources don’t list an architect or general contractor at this time. However, the West Melbourne City Council approved the venture’s final plat in Fall 2021. The project itself could take anywhere from 18 months to two years to complete––or longer, depending on its progression.
Eden at Heritage Lakes is located at St. Johns Heritage Parkway and Ellis Road, West Melbourne, Florida, in Brevard County.
