Demolition has started on the Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club, a historic property dating back to the 1940s. In its place will be a new venture called the “Naples Beach Club.” It’s under the Four Seasons brand and will offer 216 hotel rooms and more than 150 condos. The multi-million-dollar project will likely finish construction in late 2024.
The upscale development will rest on a 125-acre lot that the Athens Group and MSD Partners purchased for more than $350 million. The venture’s website notes that amenities include a golf course, racquetball course, Market Square town center, and more than 1,000 feet of beach. There is also a wellness center and spa.
Amenities include a swimming pool.
Market Square town center will feature a general store that sells various necessities. Other amenities include outdoor gathering spaces, lawn recreational activities, and a four-lane bowling alley. These are just some of the activities both residents and guests can enjoy.
As noted, the Athens Group and MSD Partners own the project. Hart Howerton is the architect, Stantec is the civil engineer, and Suffolk Construction is the general contractor.
The venture will offer more than 1,000 feet of beach.
Naples Beach Club’s address is 851 Gulf Shore Boulevard North, Naples, Florida, 34101, in Collier County. It’s south of Lowdermilk Park and just steps away from the Gulf of Mexico.

Shame to see the grand old Naples Beach Hotel go. Great location, great staff and just a great place with NO RESORT FEES ! Heavenly. Our favourite place when we travelled from the UK to Florida.
Years ago, the vibrant Sunday gatherings and beach club atmosphere with live music and dance were key factors in our decision to purchase a place in Naples. We are eagerly looking forward to seeing how the Billion-Dollar-Project will revive these cherished aspects of Naples’ ambiance.
