Not too long ago, TPA Development finished construction on one of its office buildings in Broward County, Florida. Now, the firm hopes to start construction on another venture. The Real Deal reports that the residential venture will be completed in phases, with phase 1 offering 350 multi-family units and two office buildings comprising 165,000 square feet each.
Phase 2 would add 125 hotel rooms, a bank, and more office space. Last week, the Pembroke Pines City Commission approved the venture, noting that the project’s buildings cannot measure more than 80 feet above grade. It also requires that each residential unit offer two parking spots, requiring a 700 spots total.
A 2021 report from the South Florida Business Journal noted that those spots could be spread across two low-rise parking garages. The residential aspect will host various communal amenities, including walking trails, exercise stations, and at least four electric charging stations.
Sources report that construction could start in October 2022. As noted, TPA Group, LLC owns the venture. The Georgia-based firm has eight active projects, one of which is a Pfizer office building in Tampa. NELSON Worldwide is the architect.
The mixed-use venture’s address is Southwest 145th Avenue, Pembroke Pines, Florida, 33027, in Broward County.
