Construction’s expected to start on the Beacon later this year in Sarasota, Florida. The luxury housing development will offer six residences, including two penthouses measuring around 7,000 square feet each. Homes come with ceilings measuring 12 feet to 22 feet and private saltwater swimming pools. In-unit amenities include floor-to-ceiling windows, gas fireplaces, and high-end appliances. Each unit will also feature parking for two cars.
Downtown Sarasota reports that homes start at around $5.3 million. Two properties featured online have four bedrooms and at least five bathrooms, measuring about 5,880 square feet each. Sources report that the Beacon will comprise at least 15,000 square feet of new construction and cost more than $5 million to complete. Sources report that Stellar Development, Inc. (the general contractor) could break ground on the venture in September 2022.
There are many entities involved in this project. Noble Equity LLC owns the development. G5 Studio Collaborative LLC is the architect, Jim Amberger Land Surveying is the consultant, and Morris Engineering & Consulting, LLC is the civil engineer.
The Beacon’s address is 1243 2nd Street, Sarasota, Florida, 34236, in Sarasota County. The development is south of the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art and north of the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens.
