Florida Landmark Communities could start construction on a new residential development in the fourth quarter of 2022. Wilton Palm Coast apartments will comprise 251 units spread across five buildings. The buildings will measure two to four stories above grade, with the maximum building height being 42 feet, per the Palm Coast Observer.
The units will measure about 670 square feet to more than 1,000 feet. Future residents can choose from one-bedroom to three-bedroom layout plans. The units’ size was a point of contention when developers were seeking approval. The smallest unit is only 20 square feet more than the city’s minimum residential square footage.
The venture could offer more than 250 apartments.
Communal amenities comprise a swimming pool, courtyard, dog park, kayak launch, and observation deck.At this time, homes will be available for at-market rates. Rentcafé notes that for a 1,103-square-foot apartment in Palm Coast, rent averages around $1,800 a month.
The Palm Coast City Council approved the project in June 2022. Involved entities in the venture include Crest Residential (the general contractor), Fifth Dimension Architecture and Interiors LLC (the architect), and Mark Dowst & Associates, Inc. (the civil engineer).
