Developers hope to move forward with Avery Eau Gallie, a seven-story mixed-use building offering 326 apartments. Florida Today reports that there are one-bedroom to three-bedroom homes available.
Accesso Partners reports that homes come furnished with quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and ceiling fans. The luxury at-market-rate units grant easy access to Melbourne’s various amenities. Communal amenities comprise a swimming pool, an interior courtyard, and a parking garage with more than 500 spots.
Sources note that developers hope to have a 5,000 to 6,000-square-foot high-end restaurant on the tower’s ground floor. They also hope to incorporate other retail stores into the venture. Meyers Group Incorporated Real Estate reports that its affiliate purchased the 3.3-acre build site for $3.71 million.
It hopes to start construction on Avery Eau Gallie by the end of this year. If construction starts soon, the community could start leasing in late 2023 or sometime in 2024. The future build site is already home to a few businesses, but they will likely be demolished to make way for the community.
Conceptual renderings are available online. They show a mid-rise building that features balconies for permanent residents. Avery Eau Gallie’s address is 1300 Cypress Avenue, Melbourne, Florida, 32935, in Brevard County. It’s west of the Indian River and north of Ballard Park.

What’s the status on the start of construction for this hotel? Getting excited about it, but no news on it since last year.
