Sources report that construction on River Manors is expected to start next year. The mixed-use venture requires the demolition of a now-defunct retail center. The development was built in the 1950s and hosts three retail stores, a restaurant, and a gas station.
Upon completion, River Manors would measure six stories above grade and offer 186 apartments, per the South Florida Business Journal. The publication reports that of those 186 apartments, 12 would be live/work units. Other project details include 266 parking spots and 1,800 square feet of office space.
Communal amenities comprise a fourth-floor amenity deck with a swimming pool, clubhouse, and fitness center. River Manors is expected to cost around $75 million if it comes to fruition. The development would rest on a 3.1-acre plot, located alongside the New River. Andrew Avenue Wilton Manors LLC is the project’s owner.
FSMY Architects + Planners designed the venture and released conceptual renderings online. These renderings show a waterfront development with balconies and a riverside walkway. FSMY Architects + Planners, based in Fort Lauderdale, presently has 18 active projects, mostly in the private commercial sector.
River Manors’ address is 3058-3064 North Andrews Avenue, Wilton Manors, Florida, 33311, in Broward County. It’s east of I-95.

Yep. I’m So Sad that Broward County is turning into Dade County. This is what local government call “Progress”, to fill their coffer with a larger tax base to give all the city employees chunky raises, including the mayor & commissioners- with full benefits, too. My home is on NE 29th Street, and Soon, I’ll be traffic-jammed at NE 6th Avenue because of The Sprouts’ 286+ residential units/commercial development, now this one, with 287. “Progress” just means “Greed” to me.
