Exterior work is wrapping up on Wynwood 29, a mixed-use development of 8 and 12 stories under construction at 2828 Northwest 1st Avenue in Wynwood, Miami. Designed by Arquitectonica and developed by a joint venture partnership between Related Group and Metro 1, the 722,696-square-foot project is comprised of two separate buildings that will have 248 apartments, 27,500 square feet of retail, and 281 parking spaces. Beauchamp Construction is the general contractor with AG Contractors as the shell contractor, and Johnson, Avedano, Lopez, Rodriguez & Walewski Engineering Group, Inc. (JALRW Engineering Group) is serving as the MEP engineer.
Recent aerial photos show the nearly completed look of the warm red, black, and grey stucco exterior finishes, with fully installed tinted glass and aluminum window systems. Beauchamp Construction topped off the development in February of this year, and interior work is now well undeway.
The 1.3-acre development site encompasses two lot assemblages addressed as 2804, 2810, 2819, 2828, and 2838 Northwest 1st Avenue, with the thoroughfare running in between both buildings. The property is generally bound by Northwest 28th and 29th Streets, and is adjacent to Lennar’s Artem Wynwood.
The scopes of exterior work remaining to wrap up this stage of construction is the finishing of the exposed concrete mechanical enclosure atop the southern portion of the western tower (pictured below), and additional work at the ground floor level including the sidewalk and landscaping.
The aerial shot below shows linear indentations in the stucco, a repetitive design theme that runs vertically and horizontally along different portion of the exterior walls.
Below are renderings of Wynwood 29 from Arquitectonica.
Construction appears to be on track to complete in 2023.

Aplicaciones, por favor… dónde?
wow I thought this might have been a brick facade based on the renders…They could’ve at least kept the rust/gunmetal color palette, the red-orange/silver just looks awful.
