Developers Hold Topping-Off Ceremony for NoMad Residences Wynwood

The NoMad Residences Wynwood, a new nine-story condominium tower located in the Wynwood Arts District, has officially topped off. Developed by Miami-based Related Group and Manhattan-based developer Tricap, the project is the first residential concept by the NoMad Hotels brand, under parent company Sydell Group. Over 80% of the building’s residences are already under contract, with completion expected in the fourth quarter of 2025.

Wynwood’s Whale & Star Site Eyed for Mixed-Use Redevelopment with Hotel and Condos

Plans have been submitted for potentially redeveloping the Whale & Star building in Miami’s Wynwood Arts District into a mixed-use project. The site is located at 2215-2237 Northwest 1st Place, 175 Northwest 22nd Street, and 170 Northwest 23rd Street, and spans 37,822 square feet. Currently, the property contains 27,406 square feet of commercial buildings, which would be demolished under the proposal.The city’s Wynwood Design Review Committee has approved the plans, which are now set to be reviewed by the Urban Development Review Board (UDRB).

Miami’s Urban Development Review Board has received an application for a 39-story multifamily residential tower at 2534 North Miami Avenue in Wynwood. The approximately 437-foot-tall building, proposed by 2534 N Miami Associates, LLC, an affiliate of New York-based Hidrock Properties led by Abraham J. Hidary, is designed by Arquitectonica and will feature landscape design by Gardner + Semler Landscape Architecture. The development aims to rise under the Live Local Act, featuring 463 residential units and 444 parking spaces.

$76.81 Million Loan Secured for ‘SoWy’ Mixed-Use Development in Wynwood and Overtown

More Development, an international real estate company based in Miami and Nassau, The Bahamas, has secured a $76.81 million loan for SoWy, an upcoming mixed-use development in Wynwood and Overtown, north of Downtown Miami. The loan was announced by More Development President Whitney Thier and provided by JP Morgan Chase. The nearly eight-acre SoWy project spans 26 parcels across six blocks along 2nd Avenue between NW 20th and 22nd Street. Before considering Live Local Act provisions, the site offers nearly 2.5 million base buildable square feet.
