A Tao-branded hotel is coming to Orlando, Florida. The $175 million venture is expected to finish construction in 2025. According to PR Newswire, the venture will serve as an anchor for the upcoming O-Town West, a 350-acre mixed-use project. The publication calls the hotel “an alluring destination to relax, indulge, inspire, excite, and recharge.”
Sources report that the hotel will offer 220 rooms, an Asian bistro, and various other amenities, such as a rooftop experience, meeting areas, and a fitness center. Construction could start in 2024. Tao Group Hospitality is the owner. It’s a subsidiary of Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp.
It could have close to Tao 20 locations by 2023. It has locations in Chicago, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas. The Orlando Business Journal reports that Tao Hotel offers luxury accommodations that cater to athletes, celebrities, and socialites.
Rockwell Group is the architect, and Unicorp National Development, Inc. is the developer. The Orlando-based organization presently has 28 active projects right now, most of which are unfolding in Central Florida.
At this time, the new hotel does not have an exact address. Yet, it’s in the heart of O-Town West, which is located in southwest Orange County. It’s also conveniently located near Walt Disney World Resort.
