Shoppes at East Shore is a 28-acre mixed-use development unfolding in Apopka, Florida. The venture will include retail, medical, and residential opportunities.
According to the Apopka Voice, Shoppes at East Shore will feature a 48,367-square-foot grocery store (likely a Publix), along with three smaller retail buildings measuring just over 14,000 square feet total.
Sources go on to say that plans also call for a 4,200-square-foot medical facility. GrowthSpotter notes that Shoppes at East Shore will require more than 60,000 square feet of new construction. The Orlando Business Journal notes that there will also be 224 apartments in a building measuring no more than 65 feet above grade. That aspect will comprise 7.5 acres alone. The 28-acre parcel comprises four plots.
WMG Developer is the developer. It purchased the build site for $2.1 million in 2021. Other involved parties in the venture include Kimley-Horn & Associates and Allen & Co. Shoppes at East Shore will reach completion in phases. GrowthSpotter notes that it’s just one of many multi-family developments centered around grocery stores emerging in the area.
Shoppes at East Shore will have frontage along Ocoee Apopka Road and West Keene Road in Apopka, Florida, 32703, in Orange County.

This development will be facing a busy, winding and congested road. The city of Apopka needs to widen and update this road before this development occurs.
When would it be scheduled to open?
