Renderings Reveal Three Additional Towers Planned By Lalezarian Properties For Miami Worldcenter Block E

New renderings and site plans have unveiled the entirety of the vision for Miami World Towers, an expansive mixed-use development set to completely transform Block E within the 27-acre Miami Worldcenter complex in downtown Miami. Designed by Nichols Architects with Kimley-Horn as the landscape architect and developed by Miami World Towers LLC, an affiliate of Lalezarian Properties, this project comprises four towers set to redefine the Miami skyline further. Alongside the 53-story, 557-unit East Tower (referred to as Tower 1), which is currently under construction, the newly revealed plans and renderings introduce a 25-story North Tower and a 68-story South Tower (collectively known as Tower 2), as well as a 68-story West Tower referred to as Tower 3. These new towers are expected to contribute approximately 2,137,110 square feet of space, featuring 2,040 residential units, amenities, and 810 additional parking spaces. Combined with Tower 1, the four towers will yield 2,600 residential units and 3 million square feet of space. The proposal is set for review by Miami’s Urban Development Review Board on September 20.

Developers Get FAA Approval For 761-Foot-Tall ‘Brickell Gateway’ Skyscraper At 90 SW 8th Street In Brickell, Miami

The Federal Aviation Administration has given the green light to developers Gazit Horizons and Atlantic Pacific Communities for Brickell Gateway, a 61-story mixed-use skyscraper set to rise at 90 Southwest 8th Street in Miami’s bustling Brickell neighborhood. Designed by Corwil Architects, the development will encompass a total area of 933,209 square feet. This inclusive space will house a variety of features, including 504 multifamily residential units and 18,287 square feet of retail space at ground level. Internalized parking facilities will cater to 348 vehicles. The residential units will span a range of sizes, from cozy studios to spacious three-bedroom layouts, covering an area of 493 to 1,328 square feet. The development will offer a well-rounded living experience, including enticing rooftop amenities such as a pool deck with covered terraces, grilling spots, and inviting dining areas.

UDRB Approves 20-Story ‘Tower 91’ Designed By Elkus Manfredi, CUBE 3 Near Miami’s Design District

Miami’s Urban Development Review Board has approved Tower 91, a 20-story mixed-use development slated for 91 Northeast 36th Street near the Design District. Elkus Manfredi Architects designed the tower, with CUBE 3 serving as the architect of record. Developed by Design District Associates and Prinz Corner LLC, both affiliated entities of DACRA and property owners at 91 – 93 Northeast 36th Street, this impressive structure will rise nearly 270 feet tall and offer a total of 321,450 gross square feet. The development includes 107 multi-family residential units, 21,812 square feet of ground-floor commercial space, and convenient onsite parking for 227 vehicles. Savino & Miller Design Studio is the landscape architect, Kimley-Horn handles civil engineering, Spinnaker is the LEED Consultant, and Akerman, LLP is the land-use attorney.

104-Story Mixed-Use Supertall Proposed At 130‐146 Biscayne Boulevard In Downtown Miami

Miami-Dade County planners have received a pre-application meeting request to review preliminary plans for a new 1,049-foot supertall mixed-use development in Downtown Miami. Spanning 2.15 acres, this expansive property comprises three contiguous parcels between Biscayne Boulevard and Northeast 3rd Avenue, extending from Northeast 1st to 2nd Streets, essentially occupying the northern half of the city block. The applicants listed in the application are 100 Biscayne LLC, 146 Biscayne Owner LLC, and 141 NE Third LLC, all affiliates of New York City’s RFR Realty (RFR) led by developers Aby Rosen and Michael Fuchs. owners of the Chrysler Building and Seagram Building in Manhattan. RFR wants to replace several existing buildings on the property with a 104-story tower featuring a mix of residential and hotel offerings with over 1,000 parking spaces to tower over their adjacent 30-story 100 Biscayne office building.
