The Miami Beach Design Review Board approved plans for a townhome project in South Florida. The four-story building will comprise seven two-bedroom homes.
Per the Real Deal, homes will measure about 1,200 square feet and offer private rooftop terraces. City records show that two Argentinian investors own the venture, this being their second development in South Florida.
Prior to the start of construction, general contractors demolished a single-family home on the property dating back to 1939. Gustavo J. Ramos Architect is the project’s designer. Conceptual renderings show a modern low-rise building designed in the classic Miami style.
Sources report that construction on the multi-million-dollar project started in January 2023. The development’s address is 7637 Carlyle Avenue, Miami Beach, Florida, 33141, in Miami-Dade County. Developers purchased the build site for $450,000 in 2020.
The venture’s actually right next door to an emerging three-story residential community owned by the same investors. That venture will offer six two-bedroom units. That project’s address is 7645 Carlyle Avenue in the same neighborhood. It’s also undergoing construction and could open by the end of this year. Developers purchased the build site in 2017 for $660,000.
Both communities are northeast of Biscayne Bay and directly south of Surfside.
