Amicon Management, LLC. (AMICON) is a construction services consultancy that specializes in the oversight of large-scale developments. The company has more than 65 local team members. It provides project and cost management services across various sectors in South Florida, including commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, luxury residential, interiors, and homeowner’s associations.

Under the leadership of founders Adam Mopsick and Ross Adickman, AMICON has completed projects in Miami for nearly 30 years. During this time, the company has developed longstanding local relationships and earned a reputation for providing best-in-class owner representation services. Focusing on maximizing value while minimizing risk has allowed AMICON to develop a diverse project portfolio and maintain an expansive client list. These clients include Brickell Arch, Gulliver Schools, Make-A-Wish Southern Florida, and Jungle Island, among many others. Cumming Group’s decision to merge with Amicon Management highlights the value of the company’s expertise, experience, and reputation in the construction industry.

“We are delighted to welcome AMICON as their reputation and dedication to the region will allow us to provide even greater client support throughout the State of Florida,” said Derek Hutchison, president and CEO at Cumming Group. “With Florida growing at record levels, the natural alignment of our services, company cultures, and sector expertise were compelling benefits for both teams from the very beginning when looking to expand our footprint in the state.”

We have always sought to improve and expand services for our clients while providing the best career opportunities for our team members.  This merger provides us with a premier platform for both,” said Adam Mopsick, President of Amicon. “As Florida’s population continues to grow, so do the needs for expert construction industry leadership. We are proud to align with Cumming’s long-standing reputation as a true client advocate. Amicon’s local expertise combined with Cumming’s depth and larger project experience make this a perfect fit at this time.”

Following the merger, Amicon Management will continue to operate under the day-to-day leadership of its current executive team as Amicon Management, A Cumming Company. This structured integration will ensure the Miami-based group maintains its identity and expertise while benefiting from Cumming’s broader resources and experience. The merger will also enable the company to expand its services for clients and provide new opportunities for its team members. With this merger, Cumming Group strengthened its presence in the South Florida region and reinforced its commitment to delivering unparalleled construction consultancy services.
