Vantage Lofts, Located in Ft. Myers, Scheduled to Start Construction in July 2023

A four-parcel lot in Fort Myers with two commercial buildings could soon find new life as a 16-story residential complex. Meet Vantage Lofts.

According to the Fort Myers Community Redevelopment (CRA), the community will offer more than 200 lofts, along with 5,000 square feet of retail space. Plans also call for a low-rise parking garage with 300 parking spots. The class A community will rest on a 1.90-acre lot, per Capstone Companies.

Vantage Lofts will comprise more than 314,000 square feet of new construction, per DevMar Development. It intends to “bring young professionals to the Fort Myers area and promote new business growth once completed, thereby contributing directly to the revitalization of the Fort Myers River District.”

Construction on the $80 million project is slated for July 2023, with completion scheduled for 24 months afterward. Sources list DevMar Development as the developer. It got Vantage Lofts approved for a tax increment financing (TIF) credit in 2019. The Rinaldi Group is the general contractor.

The project will be in this general vicinity.

At the time of publication, our sources didn’t list an exact address for Vantage Lofts. Yet, they report that the community will be located “in the heart of Ft. Myers” across the street from Caloosahatchee River Waterfront. The venture’s located in Lee County.
