Developers Seeks Approval for McCoys Landing at 101 Myrtle Ave. S., Jacksonville, Florida

McCoys Landing is just one step closer to getting approval in Jacksonville, Florida. The seven-story complex will offer 275 units on a two-acre build site. The Jacksonville Business Journal does not disclose how large the homes will be, but based on evolving communities in the area, they will likely range from studios to three-bedroom units.

In addition to the residences, communal amenities include a 310-space parking garage, dog run, swimming pool, and “flex lawn.” If approved, the developer, Kansas-City-based MW Development Enterprises LLC, hopes to break ground by the first quarter of 2024, with completion planned for the fourth quarter of 2025.

The build site measures two acres.

Prior to construction, the general contractor must demolish two already-existing buildings. Recent renderings from Google Earth show that the build site is presently home to various commercial and industrial ventures.

The Jax Daily Record notes that England-Thims & Miller is operating as the civil engineer. Group 4 Design is the architect. Renderings show that McCoys Landing has a five-over-two design, meaning that five stories rest on a wider two-story podium. Linck Landscape Architecture is the landscape architect.

The venture will replace these buildings.

McCoys Landing will accompany Johnson Commons, a 91-unit apartment complex in the area. The former venture’s address is 101 Myrtle Ave. S., Jacksonville, Florida, 32204, in Duval County.
