Midtown Davie Proposed for 6101 to 6143 Orange Drive, Davie, Florida, 33314

A 1.9-acre site in Davie could soon be home to a multi-family housing development, pending city approval. Midtown Davie would comprise about 290,000 square feet of new construction, measuring four stories above grade and offering 136 apartments.

Per the South Florida Business Journal, homes will range from about 670 to 1,220 square feet, offering one-bedroom to three-bedroom options. In addition to the residences, Midtown Davie would offer 4,500 square feet of ground floor retail, along with 245 parking spots.

Amenities include a resort-style swimming pool.

Communal amenities would include a swimming pool, indoor activity space, and interior courtyard. If approved, the project would require the demolition of a three-story apartment, along with a smaller office building.

Midtown Davie LLC owns the property, having purchased the 1.9-acre parcel for a total of $1.86 million. Pillar Consultants is the developer, and FSMY Architects + Planners is the designer. Davie’s Planning & Zoning Board will consider the proposal on June 13.

Construction requires the demolition of an apartment and office building.

Midtown Davie is one of many evolving multi-family developments in the area right now. The complex will accommodate the area’s growing population, along with the student body at Broward College, Florida Atlantic University, and Nova Southeastern University.

Midtown Davie could occupy 6101 to 6143 Orange Drive, Davie, Florida, 33314, in Broward County.
