Construction Starts on Hillsboro Landing at 3851 N. Dixie Highway, Deerfield Beach, Florida, 33064

Housing Trust Group (HTG) has officially broken ground on Hillsboro Landing, an affordable housing complex for seniors in Broward County. The multifamily housing venture will offer 75 one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments, measuring between 702 square feet to 927 square feet each.

Residency is available to seniors 62-years plus who make at or below 22, 25, and 60 percent of the area median income. At the time of publication, the median household income in Deerfield Beach was $49,650.

The venture will measure six stories.

According to HTGF, Hillsboro Landing will measure six stories above grade, offering 5,000 square feet of amenities. They include a fitness center, bocce ball court, rooftop terraces, and 96 parking spots.

ATL Architecture is the architect. Conceptual renderings show a mid-rise building with what appears to be a groundfloor parking garage. The South Florida Business Journal lists Ferncore Corp as the general contractor and Keith & Associates as the planning firm.

The venture’s located in Deerfield Beach, FL.

Hillsboro Landing will cost just over $40 million to complete. As noted, construction started on the venture this week. Delivery’s slated for October 2024. Hillsboro Landing will rest on a 11.45-acre build site at 3851 N. Dixie Highway, Deerfield Beach, Florida, 33064, in Broward County. It’s south of the Highlands Scrub Natural Area.

Last year I was living in a similar complex in the Boston area for 5 years, The building which was only 5 years old had a major fire which had affected my beautiful apartment. My apartment was condemned and I was issued a voucher to move. I signed a one year lease in Boca Raton, but, looking for more permanent housing as I’m renting from a private homeowner who may sell next year. How and when are applications being accepted?
