JFM Development Corp., a Hialeah-based developer, has submitted plans for a new townhome community. If approved, Palm Cove Reserve would offer 296 townhomes on a 59.1-acre lot.
Homes would measure 1,357 square feet to 1,701 square feet each, offering three-bedroom to four-bedroom floorplans. Sources report that homes would come with a garage and driveway, while communal amenities would include a resort-style pool and clubhouse.
Palm Cove Reserve would cost $124.4 million to complete. Palenzuela & Hevia Design Group is the architect. Based in Miami, the organization has various conceptual renderings online, showcasing two-story homes with balconies and wood accents. Palm Cove Reserve isn’t the only residential community proposed in Miami-Dade County.
Florida YIMBY has also learned of a proposal for a single-family home community dubbed “the Portobello Estates.” Originally, the venture was proposed in 2019, requesting approval for 73 townhomes.
Now, developers have revised their plans, proposing 55 homes, measuring 1,921 square feet to 2,479 square feet each. Each home would feature three bedrooms, and unlike Palm Cove Reserve, it would not feature an amenity center.
Palm Cove Reserve could be located on the northwest corner of East Palm Drive and Southeast 12th Avenue in Homestead, Florida. The Portobello Estates project would also be located in Homestead.
