Investments Limited Seeks Approval for Mixed-Use Venture at 132 and 170 N.E. Second St., Boca Raton, Florida

Investments Limited hopes to get approval for two 11-story hotels in Boca Raton, Florida. Presently, the 1.63-acre build site is home to a restaurant and U.S. Post Office. If approved, the towers would comprise 336,781 square feet of new construction, offering 266 keys and more than 32,000 square feet of retail space.

The retail aspect would mostly feature restaurants and stores on the first and second floors. The South Florida Business Journal notes that one tower would offer 153 rooms with rooms averaging 445 square feet each. The other tower would offer fewer rooms––113, to be exact––but they would average 1,300 square feet.

The towers would both measure 11 stories.

Amenities would include 423 parking spots, a swimming pool, and guests-only lounge. Boca Magazine reports that James and Maria Batmasian, the owners of Investments Limited, wanted to redevelop Mizner Plaza nearly five years ago. Yet, after learning that small businesses relied on the local post office, they worked out a new leasing arrangement.

In 2019, the couple proposed a high-rise Venetian-style hotel in downtown Boca Raton. Sources report that the venture is currently in its second phase. If approved, the two 11-story towers would be located at 132 and 170 N.E. Second St., Boca Raton, Florida, 33432, in Palm Beach County.
