Brightline To Launch High-Speed Rail Service to Orlando International Airport Starting September 22

Brightline, recognized for its modern and eco-friendly intercity rail service in the United States, is set to launch its route to Orlando International Airport on September 22, 2023. Travelers can now book inaugural rides at gobrightline.com or via the Brightline app for iOS and Android.

According to Patrick Goddard, president of Brightline, opening the Orlando route is a significant step in their business model, driven by high demand from both the business and tourism sectors. He encourages travelers to plan and book seats for the upcoming holiday season.

Brightline offers one-way SMART fares starting at $79 for adults and $39 for kids for a limited time. Groups of four or more will enjoy an extra 25 percent discount on SMART fares. SMART service offers a comfortable business-class experience with leather seats, complimentary Starlink WiFi, power outlets, and various food and beverage options.

One-way PREMIUM fares start at $149, providing a first-class experience with added amenities such as a dedicated PREMIUM lounge, priority boarding, checked luggage, and complimentary snacks and beverages throughout the journey.

Brightline also extends various promotions for guest categories, including corporate riders, students, and travel advisors. Brightline aims to offer commissionable fares and be bookable on GDS by the end of 2023.

The launch of the Orlando route coincides with several events and attractions in the area, making it a convenient and exciting travel option. Travelers can connect from South Florida to Orlando for seasonal events, including Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando Resort, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Walt Disney World, and Howl-O-Scream at SeaWorld Orlando. Food enthusiasts can enjoy events like the Epcot International Wine & Food Festival and SeaWorld’s Craft Beer Festival, along with exploring Michelin-star restaurants in Orlando.
