The Nora District is one of South Florida’s most exciting ventures, expected to be the Wynwood of Palm Beach County. The multi-million-dollar venture broke ground in June 2023, redeveloping old warehouses into modern, dynamic commercial ventures. Now, developers are moving ahead with a non-branded hotel that is the “antitheses of Hilton, Marriott or Hyatt.”

The five-story hotel would replace a 5,520-square-foot building.
The “fairly luxurious incredibly designed boutique hotel” will offer 200 rooms on a 1.07-acre site, with the hotel itself measuring five stories above grade and measuring just over 203,000 square feet. Our sources indicate that amenities would include a rooftop swimming pool, fitness center, spa, restaurant, and two bars. There would also be a parking garage.
BD Hotels, a New York-based firm, is the developer. It recruited Stantec as the architect and Gachot Studio as the interior designer. If everything goes according to plan, construction on the mid-rise hotel could start in the first quarter of 2024, with completion intended for late 2025. By then, the Nora District would have commercial buildings ready for occupancy.

The five-story hotel would be located at the gateway of the Nora District.
Property records show that the build site is presently home to a 5,520-square-foot warehouse that was built in 1974. The hotel’s address will be 1021 N. Railroad Ave, West Palm Beach, Florida, 33401, in Palm Beach County.

Your sources are always obviously the developers!
The bar is pretty low considering the architectural monstrosity that is the convention center Hilton, but a hipster hotel designed by Stantec… what could possibly go wrong? /sarcasm
