The end of 2023 could see the completion of Central Park Food Hall, a five-story venture in St. Petersburg, FL. Construction on the 27,700-square-foot development started in November 2021. Initially, the project was to measure three stories, slated to finish construction in 2022. Yet, delays pushed completion back to later this year.
Originally, the build site was home to Dome Grill, a venture that was demolished prior to the start of construction. Per St. Pete Rising, Central Park Food Hall will host at least 10 ventures. Seven quick-service restaurants will be on the main floor. Other offerings include full-service bars and two full-service restaurants.
One of the confirmed restaurants is Kojo, a modern Asian restaurant with another location in Sarasota, FL. Other restaurants include Speaks Clam Bar and BAR HANA by Kojo. They also have locations in Sarasota.
Central Park Food Hall’s top level will host events/creative space, intended for hosting year-long events. The basement level will offer a speakeasy-style bar. Behar + Peteranecz is the architect, and Barr & Barr is the general contractor.
Central Park Food Hall’s address is 551 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg, FL, 33701, in Pinellas County. The commercial development will be south of Mirror Lake and east of Florida 275.
