Real estate developer Terra and wellness brand THE WELL have begun construction on THE WELL Bay Harbor Islands at 1177 Kane Concourse in Miami’s Bay Harbor Islands. The project includes an eight-story residential building with 54 residences, over 22,000 square feet of amenities, and a separate office building totaling 102,000 square feet. THE WELL Bay Harbor Islands represents the collaboration between Terra and THE WELL in integrating wellness concepts into residential and office environments. The estimated completion date is Q2 of 2025.
The groundbreaking ceremony, held at 11:00 am, saw the attendance of notable figures such as Terra’s CEO David Martin, THE WELL’s Chief Creative Officer Kane Sarhan, and Bay Harbor Islands city officials, including council members Robert H. Yaffe, Isaac Salver, Stephanie Bruder, and Molly Diallo. This event signifies the combined vision of Terra and THE WELL to integrate wellness into luxury living and workspace, marking their commitment to creating a groundbreaking urban wellness community.

Designed with THE WELL’s concepts and interiors by Meyer Davis and architecture by Arquitectonica, the project emphasizes wellness. Owners and members will be in an environment that aims to integrate wellness into daily living.

The residences at THE WELL Bay Harbor Islands offer waterfront condominiums ranging in size and include various amenities. Meyer Davis designed the interiors, taking inspiration from Miami’s natural elements. Features include a spacious living room and bedroom, a primary bathroom with a therapeutic tub and rain shower, and an optional spa shower. The kitchen consists of a workstation sink and a faucet, offering various water options. Meditation nooks with yoga mats are also integrated into the units. Douglas Elliman Development Marketing is handling the marketing and sales for the residences.

The fitness center at THE WELL Bay Harbor Islands offers a range of wellness experiences, including thermal treatments, saunas, steam rooms, and therapy rooms with diverse treatments, as well as dedicated spaces for pilates, meditation, and yoga. THE WELL Bay Harbor Islands provides a variety of amenities centered on holistic well-being. The Club merges Eastern and Western therapeutic services, targeting multiple health facets. The rooftop boasts a lap pool and a heated circular pool, each designed with health-centric attributes. The fitness section comprises a variety of equipment and areas for diverse physical activities, all showcased against expansive floor-to-ceiling windows. A dedicated boardroom facilitates discussions and meetings, highlighting functionality and user comfort. Moreover, a serene reading room adorned with wide windows and subdued hues presents an environment for rest and reflection.

The Offices at THE WELL Bay Harbor Islands has 102,000 square feet of office space. It includes a lobby, office spaces, and a rooftop. Tenants can customize their spaces. The office area also offers outdoor workspaces, a rooftop with meeting areas, and wellness-related amenities.
