Prominent Southwest Florida developer London Bay Development Group (London Bay) has broken ground on The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Estero Bay. This milestone signifies the commencement of residential construction for Saltleaf on Estero Bay, which comprises two 22-story towers containing 224 residences. London Bay, city officials, development partners, and friends gathered at the project’s 5,000-square-foot sales gallery at 5000 Coconut Road in Bonita Springs to celebrate the groundbreaking on July 14. Coastal Construction has reached a milestone with the topping out of a new 30-story residential tower in Tampa, and this is the first of a two-phase development. The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Tampa, located at 3101 Bayshore Boulevard, is being developed by Related Group and designed by Arquitectonica with interiors by Meyer Davis and landscaping by Enzo Enea. The residential tower will feature 89 condominium residences and a selection of 12 townhome-style villas with ample amenities. At 350 feet tall, the tower will rank among the tallest residential buildings along Bayshore Boulevard.

Designed by Nichols Architects with interiors by Meyer Davis and developed by Quadrum Global, the 114-foot-tall structure yields 217 rooms, marking the latest installation of the Arlo Hotels brand and the first hotel for the rapidly developing Wynwood area. Plaza Construction served as the general contractor for the development, which officially opened to the public on November 1.

New Construction Permits Filed For Related Group’s 73-Story Baccarat Residences Condo Tower In Brickell

New construction permits have been filed for Baccarat Residences, a 73-story residential skyscraper located at 99 Southeast 5th Street in Brickell. The permit filing has revealed the structure will top out at 835-feet, and will contain 806,326 square feet of space including 796,326 square feet of space designated for residential use across 352 condominium units and 10,000 square feet of space for a restaurant. The corporation listed as the owner of the application is 444 Brickell Partners, LLC, an affiliate of the Related Group (Related) led by prolific real estate developer Jorge M. Perez, who is often referred to as the condo king of Miami. Related is developing the highly anticipated tower with SH Hotels & Resorts, who manages the Baccarat Hotel in New York. The building is designed by Miami-based international architecture firm Arquitectonica with lavish interiors by New York City-based Meyers Davis, and landscaping will be handled by Enzo Enea of Zurich-based Enea Garden Design. John Moriarty and Associates of Florida Inc. is listed as the general contractor.

Related Group Lands $91.3 Million Construction Loan for 20-Story Solemar Condo Tower In Pompano Beach

Vertical construction will be moving forward on Solemar, a 20-story condominium tower underway at 1116 North Ocean Boulevard in Pompano Beach. It’s developer, the Related Group, acquired a $91.3 million mid-construction loan from CIBC Bank for the development, which broke ground in May of 2021. International architecture firm Arquitectonica is onboard as the designer of the condo tower with Meyer Davis handling interiors. Plans call for the construction of a 250-foot-tall building yielding 105 residential units, that of which 95% have already been pre-sold.
