The Flats Resort and Spa is continuing construction in Central Florida. The seven-story venture, which will require more than 180,000 square feet of new construction, is scheduled for completion in early 2025.
GrowthSpotter notes that there will be 160 units, including studios to three-bedroom homes. The wellness-themed condo will offer a full-service spa, fitness center, and service restaurant. Given the venture’s close proximity to Walt Disney World, residents can also see nightly fireworks on the top floor.
The community cost more than $25 million to build.
Urban Network Capital Group (UNCG) purchased the 1.6-acre build site for $1.15 million in 2020. It broke ground on the Flats Resort and Spa in December 2022. The organization recently secured a $24 million construction loan that will aid in the project’s completion.
Overcash Demmitt Architects, which is based in South Carolina, designed the condo-hotel. Sources report that UNCG partnered with the organization because of the firm’s success in previous, similar ventures. At the time of publication, the condo’s website reported that there were only 53 available units left, and it was completely sold out of studio and three-bedroom homes.
The venture rests on a 1.6-acre build site.
