The Palm Beach, Florida-based real estate development and investment firm Kolter Urban has announced plans for The Island at West Bay Club, a 24-story tower located at 22050 South Tamiami Trail in Estero, Florida, within the West Bay Club community on Florida’s Paradise Coast. Designed by Garcia Stromberg Architects, this tower will feature 86 residences, each offering spectacular views of the Gulf of Mexico and West Bay Club’s championship golf course. In addition, the development will include a variety of signature resort-style amenities designed to provide world-class living within the comforts of a close-knit community. Suffolk Construction is the general contractor, and Compass Realty handles sales and marketing.

“Kolter Urban is renowned not only for its exceptional high-quality designs but also for crafting unique, amenity-rich lifestyles for its residences,” said Brian Van Slyke, Kolter Urban’s Regional President. “We are excited to extend our expertise to the wider Naples region, delivering a thoughtfully-designed development that aims to set new standards. Each residence is positioned to offer corner placement, allowing for breathtaking views of the surrounding natural landscapes and water. We are proud to make an impact in a new market by introducing a residential tower that stands apart from any other in the Naples area.”

Over its 25-year history, Kolter Urban has developed a significant presence in condominium development, with a portfolio of over 5,500 residences in Florida and Georgia. The firm is known for its strategic planning, selection of prime locations, incorporation of innovative amenities, and a focus on construction quality. Kolter Urban’s portfolio includes properties on Florida’s West Coast, such as ONE St. Petersburg, Saltaire, Hyde Park House, and The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Sarasota. Additionally, the firm is developing communities on Florida’s east coast, including Selene Oceanfront Residences and 100 Las Olas in Fort Lauderdale.

The Island features Florida Coastal contemporary architecture, set against a waterfront and nature preserve backdrop. Its design promotes an indoor-outdoor lifestyle with a dramatic wraparound structure, expansive terraces, and panoramic views. The building’s layout ensures each residence has a corner position, offering unobstructed views. Residents will have private, access-controlled elevators leading to 3 to 4-bedroom units, plus a den, with sizes ranging from 3,300 to over 3,600 square feet. These residences boast 10-foot ceilings and full-height sliding glass doors and windows. Additionally, two half-floor Penthouse residences, each over 6,000 square feet, are planned for release.

Each unit includes a full-size washer and dryer in the laundry room for convenience. The owners’ suites are spacious, with walk-in closets and spa-like bathrooms, including European cabinetry, quartz surfaces, soaking tubs, one-piece toilets, designer fixtures, and glass shower enclosures.

Exceptional amenities are planned to foster inviting social spaces and memorable experiences. On the 24th floor, a rooftop oasis will feature a fitness & yoga space, an adult relaxation pool, and areas for enjoying sunsets with views of the Gulf of Mexico. The main level will host a resident club room, a resort-style swimming pool with lap lanes, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and private guest suites. A family-friendly splash lounge will also serve as a multi-generational gathering space, and a sports lounge will offer a high-tech golf simulator.

Located on the Paradise Coast, residents will have access to the West Bay Club Community’s amenities. These include The Beach Club, which provides a private area on the Gulf of Mexico’s beaches and an oceanfront dining venue. The community also boasts The Bay House, which features a modern fitness center, a resort-style pool, and outdoor dining options. For sports interests, The Sport Complex offers eight tennis courts and six pickleball courts for games with other club members. Additionally, the community’s championship golf course, designed by Pete and P.B. Dye, caters to various skill levels.
