Hollywood officials have given the green light for a residential complex across from South Broward High School in Hollywood, FL. 21 Hollywood will measure 13 stories above grade and offer 200 apartments.
Per the South Florida Business Journal, those units would include 18 penthouse that would come with rooftop terraces. Communal amenities include a fifth-floor amenity deck, featuring a swimming pool, media lounge, fitness center, summer kitchen, and more.
The complex could start construction next year.
21 Hollywood is more than residences, however. Our sources indicate that plans call for just over 10,000 square feet of commercial space and 301 parking spots. Construction could start on the 388,434-square-foot complex in summer 2024. The general contractor will first have to demolish a 13,597-square-foot commercial center.
21 Hollywood’s developer, Bardi VP LLC, purchased the 1.48-acre build site for $6.5 million in February 2023. Bardi VP LLC is an affiliate of StarLife Group. It selected the area for 21 Hollywood because of its potential and ongoing construction endeavors. Kobi Karp is the architect.
The complex will be located near South Broward High School.
21 Hollywood could cost around $45 million to complete. It will be located at 2100 N. Federal Highway, Hollywood, FL, 33020, in Broward County. It will be east of I-95 Expressway and south of Florida International Airport.
