Miami-based Lennar Corp. has purchased a 6.47-acre parcel in west Pembroke Pines. The end goal? A townhouse community named “Tuscan Springs.”
Per the South Florida Business Journal, the developer initially proposed the development in 2023, where it wanted a rezoning change for the parcel. Upon full buildout, the residential complex will offer 50 three-bedroom townhomes, measuring 1,450 square feet to 1,700 square feet each.
Not much is known about the units themselves aside from what’s on Lennar Corp’s website, which reads: “Tuscan Springs is a community of new luxury townhomes with luxe interiors and spacious floorplans coming soon to Pembroke Pines, FL.”
Tuscan Springs is planned for 18452 Pines Boulevard, Pembroke Pines, FL, 33029, in Broward County. Google Earth’s renderings suggest that the townhome community will replace a strip mall that hosts various small businesses.
Tuscan Springs is not the only multi-family community that Lennar Corp. has in its pipeline. It’s currently working on Altamira, a master-planned community in Miami. Similar to Tuscan Springs, the venture will also offer an array of three-bedroom homes with upscale interior amenities.
Pembroke Pines is a hotbed for development in Broward County right now. As the second most populated city in the county, there is always a high demand for housing.
