Mixed-Use Gallery Haus Planned for 155 17th St. S., St. Petersburg, FL

Black Salmon, a commercial real estate firm, and LD&D, a development/design firm, have partnered together on a new venture in St. Petersburg, FL. The duo recently purchased a 0.77-acre site for $9.05 million.

They hope to develop Gallery Haus, a 23-story multi-family development. Per the Tampa Bay Business Journal, the community would offer more than 200 homes, along with 10,000 square feet of amenities.

The venture would yield more than 200 homes.

Communal amenities would include a swimming pool, co-working space, and fitness center on the sixth floor. There would also be 5,000 square feet of ground floor retail. The general contractor could break ground in the fourth quarter of 2024.

Baker Barrios Architects designed the high-rise tower. Sources indicate that the Tampa-based firm presently has 11 active projects totaling close to $320 million. The South Florida Business Journal reports that Gallery Haus could cost $115 million to complete.

The complex would be near Tropicana Field.

Gallery Haus isn’t the first complex that has been proposed for the 0.77-acre site. Apogee Real Estate previously proposed a 23-story tower for the build site, but that specific plan never came to fruition.

It was the parcel’s seller and previous owner. Gallery Haus could unfold later this year at 155 17th St. S., St. Petersburg, FL, 33712, in Pinellas County.
