Moss Construction marked a pivotal moment in the transformation of Brickell’s skyline with the groundbreaking of Mast Capital’s Cipriani Residences Miami. This event heralds the rise of what is set to become Brickell’s tallest edifice, reaching an impressive height of 950 feet above ground level. Designed by the esteemed Arquitectonica with interiors by 1508 London., the development will tower over 1420 South Miami Avenue as an 84-story, nautical-inspired skyscraper. It is slated to house a collection of 397 residences featuring lavish penthouses complete with private pools.

Luis Hidalgo, Senior Vice President of Moss, expressed enthusiasm for the venture, stating, “Embarking on this ambitious project with Mast Capital is exhilarating. Cipriani Residences is poised to redefine Miami’s skyline, surpassing the Panorama Tower as Brickell’s loftiest structure. It’s an honor to be part of this historic endeavor.”

The luxury extends beyond the residences, with amenities encompassing a private restaurant and speakeasy, a resort-style pool deck adorned with cabanas, a comprehensive fitness center, and a spa equipped with a sauna and treatment rooms. Additional facilities include a wellness center, a children’s playroom, and a pickleball court, culminating in 50,000 square feet of premium amenities designed to enrich residents’ lifestyles.

Recently, the developer secured a record-breaking construction loan of $600 million, the largest ever for a single-tower residential construction in Florida. Banco Inbursa and Ascendant Capital Partners provided the funding, with $350 million coming from Banco Inbursa and $250 million from Ascendant Capital Partners. This substantial financial backing underscores the market’s strong confidence in the project, attributed to its distinctive design, comprehensive amenities, and prime Brickell location.

Starting at $1.7 million, the offerings will include one- to four-bedroom residences and penthouses with private pools. The Canaletto Collection stands out, featuring six exclusive penthouses starting at $17 million. These come with privileges such as priority access to a private speakeasy and dining areas, bespoke concierge services, and the option for custom finishes. Designed with privacy in mind, these penthouses offer direct elevator access and a limited number of residences per floor.

With an anticipated completion in 2028, Cipriani Residences Miami represents the first of two collaborative projects between Moss and Mast Capital set to commence this year, signaling a transformative era for Brickell’s architectural landscape.

  1. Nice tower, but the podium with all of the parking cheapens the whole look. Couldn’t they have done town homes or retail on the lower floors and hide at least some of the parking? The pedestrian experience will not be good along these streets.
