GLC Pompano 1 LLC, a Texas-based developer, hopes to get approval for an apartment complex in Pompano Beach. If approved by Pompano Beach’s Development Review Committee, the 19,575-square-foot build site would host 67 apartments in an eight-story building.
Per the South Florida Business Journal, the building itself would comprise just over 125,000 square feet of new construction, with 1,118 square feet designated as commercial space.
There would also be 86 parking spots located on the building’s three lower stories. Communal amenities would include a fitness center and co-working space, along with a top-floor swimming pool and lounge.
Records call the project “GLC 22nd,” although it’s unclear whether this is a working title or the official name. City records also report that the venture is presently in its “Under Planning Review Process.” The Development Review Committee will review the proposal on Feb. 21.
If approved, completion could happen in either 2025 or 2026, costing $18 million to complete. As noted, GLC Pompano 1 LLC is the developer. The organization purchased the vacant build site for $2 million in July 2023. Jupiter-based PlanW3st LLC is representing the developer’s application.
Austin Fox Architecture designed the building. GLC 22nd could soon unfold at 31 N.E. 22nd Avenue, Pompano Beach, FL, 33062, in Broward County.
