Kolter Multifamily LLC, an affiliate of Delray Beach’s The Kolter Group, commenced construction on Alton Osprey, an apartment community located at 174 East Bay Street in Osprey, Florida, just south of downtown Sarasota. This 252-unit upscale apartment complex, designed by Dynamik Design, will consist of three to five-story buildings and a two-story clubhouse, placing residents within walking distance of multiple dining options, sophisticated boutiques, and the most engaging outdoor amenities the greater Sarasota area offers.

“We are very excited to take part in the tremendous wave of development the greater Sarasota area is witnessing as we break ground on Alton Osprey,” said Jeff Kruse, Managing Director of Kolter Multifamily. “This development was strategically designed to place residents around Sarasota’s best amenities, while providing a high-quality, engaging luxury experience at home. As we hit this important construction milestone, we look forward to bringing our vision for this wonderful community to life.”

Located 11 miles south of Downtown Sarasota and six miles south of Siesta Key, Alton Osprey offers prime access to the scenic Sarasota Bay waterfront. Residents will be footsteps from natural beauty courtesy of the Bay Street Park, the Legacy Bike Trail, the Bay Street Dog Park, and Marker 38’s kayak and boat rentals. The community also boasts convenient access to culinary delights such as The Point Restaurant and local grocery staples Costco, Publix, and Target. Families residing at Alton Osprey will benefit from top-notch schooling options, as the community is situated in one of the state’s most highly regarded educational districts.

With curated building accents and contemporary design throughout, Alton Osprey features three-, four-, and five-story apartment buildings, including a mix of spacious one-bedroom to three-bedroom units ranging from 740 to 1,492 square feet. Each unit includes chef-style kitchens with energy-efficient, stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, large walk-in closets, full-size washers and dryers, ceramic tile and vinyl wood-style plank flooring in the living areas, tile kitchen backsplashes, and nine-foot ceilings throughout all homes. Additionally, select units will have private patios and balconies to provide residents with extra luxury and noteworthy views.

To emphasize the communal feel of the complex, Alton Osprey has implemented many social spaces into its design equipped with high-end amenities. These include a resort-inspired swimming pool with covered cabanas, an outdoor fireside lounge, a summer kitchen with BBQ grills, an upscale business center and private conference room, coworking offices with a coffee bar and free Wi-Fi, a game lounge with billiards and a media wall, a professional fitness center, and a yoga and spin studio with on-demand fitness. Additional services available to residents include secured storage and bike storage areas, gated and secured building access, electric vehicle charging stations, and package acceptance services.
