Our sources reveal that The Aster & Links, a mixed-use venture in Sarasota, FL, is slated for a 2024 completion. The venture will comprise 424 residences. According to Multi-Housing News, there will be one-bedroom to three-bedroom apartments, as well as four-bedroom “townhome-style penthouses.”
Per the development’s website, homes measure 802 square feet to 2,820 square feet each. In-unit offerings include quartz countertops, European-style kitchens, and keyless access—among other features.
At the time of publication, rent prices were not available online. The homes will be divided between two 10-story buildings. Communal amenities at The Aster & Links include rooftop gathering spaces, private dining areas, and a center courtyard. There will also be more than 900 parking spots.
The residential aspect is just one feature of this upscale community. Plans call for 55,000 square feet of ground-floor retail. Robbins Listings notes that there are “13 possible units” measuring 1,500 square feet to 22,000 square feet each. One of the commercial entities will be a Sprouts Farmers Market.
Belpointe OZ is the developer. It secured a $130 million loan from Bank OZK in June 2023. The Aster & Links will be located at 1991 Main Street, Sarasota, FL, 34236, in Sarasota County. It will lie west of I-75 and south of Sarasota Bradenton International Airport.
