314-Unit ‘Kirkman Point Multifamily’ Planned South of Kirkman Road and International Drive, Orlando, FL

Tellus Partners has plans to build a project known as “Kirkman Point Multifamily,” a 314-apartment complex near Universal’s Orlando Epic Universe. The Orlando Business Journal reports that the residential community would occupy an 11-acre parcel.

Conceptual renderings show that the development would have eight four-story buildings, likely offering two-bedroom, two-bathroom homes. Kirkman Point Multifamily has a unique layout. The rectangular property has six “triplex-style apartments” facing State Road 435, Carrier Drive, and Grand National Drive.

The complex would offer two different building types.

They will feel very similar to a townhome community, with a few small changes, such as private staircases for each unit. The interior of Kirkman Point Multifamily will offer two four-story, garden-style buildings.

Communal amenities include 580 parking spots (452 of which will be in covered parking garages), a swimming pool, and clubhouse. One of the biggest draw to Kirkman Point Multifamily is, as mentioned, Universal’s Orlando Epic Universe. The theme park is expected to open in 2025. The community is about a mile away.

The triplex-style homes.

Virginia-based Lessard Design is Kirkman Point Multifamily’s architect. It has the “triplex” concept under trademark. Other involved parties include Kimley-Horn and Shannon Surveying Inc. The 314-unit project will be located south of Kirkman Road and International Drive, Orlando, FL, 32819, in Orange County.
