Yesterday, we reported on Mia Bella Palmetto, a build-to-rent community in Southwest Florida. Now, we’re reporting on another one: Marisol, a Class A complex that began construction in 2022.
According to the Tampa Bay Business Journal, Marisol will comprise 172 single-story homes, measuring 1,434 square feet to 1,524 square feet each. The upscale villas will mirror architectural styles found in the British West Indies.

Apartments.com reports that rent will range from $2,795 to $3,425 a month, although this hasn’t been officially confirmed by developers. Each home would offer two bedrooms, private backyards, and two-car garages. There are two floorplans to choose from.
Multi-Housing News notes that communal amenities at Marisol include a dog park, direct lake access, and a swimming pool with a sundeck. Marisol was recently sold in a forward sale. Neal Communities was the prior owner; the complex was sold to an institutional investor that was advised by J.P. Morgan Global Alternatives.

A forward sale “refers to an agreement to sell a property at a future closing date.” This is ideal for many buyers that want to take over operations as soon as the community starts welcoming tenants. Marisol is unfolding now at 16335 Coastal Crest Place, Bradenton, FL, 34211, in Manatee County.
