Miami Beach’s Planning Board is scheduled to hear a proposal for a five-story, mixed-use project.
Our sources indicate that, presently, the 30,000-square-foot site in question serves as a parking lot for the adjacent CVS. Yet, if approved by city officials, the new venture would require 60,000 square feet of new construction, with 38,805 square feet (64.7 percent) serving as office space.
According to the South Florida Business Journal, the project would additionally offer 77 parking spots and 3,900 square feet of commercial space. There would also be a residential component: eighteen 1,980-square-foot townhomes, along with a 564-square-foot rooftop amenity deck. These residences would occupy the bottom two floors, while the remaining three would be office space.
7410 LLC, the developer, also plans to redevelop the CVS itself, the building of which was constructed in the 1950s. This aspect would also offer 18 residences, along with 25 parking spots, more than 8,300 square feet of retail, and a rooftop pool.
Because the decades-old building is considered historically significant, the developer has promised to preserve many of its original components. The five-story project is proposed for 7401 to 7425 Harding Ave in Miami Beach, FL, 33141, in Miami-Dade County. The CVS redevelopment would be located at 7410 Collins Avenue.
