Kuhn Automotive Group Plans ‘The Elliott’ for 500 E. Kennedy Boulevard Tampa, FL

Tampa-based Kuhn Automotive Group has plans to transform a historic building into a 40,000-square-foot club. The Elliott will offer a host of amenities, including event space, a cigar room, jazz lounge, bars, and a rooftop garden terrace.

There will also be a spa that features a cold room, sauna, and steam and treatment rooms. The Tampa Bay Business Journal reports that the high-end venture will be located inside a 1920s building. The developers intend to preserve as much as the original building as possible throughout construction.

The Elliott is named for Tampa architect M. Leo Elliott, who designed Tampa City Hall and two famous clubs. That’s So Tampa notes that construction “should be behind this summer” with completion slated for 2026. At the time of publication, Kuhn Automotive Group was about to file permits to make the project possible.

Ellison Construction is The Elliott’s general contractor. Recently, Florida YIMBY reported on another project in the firm’s pipeline: Casa Marti and Casa Gomez. The former will offer 127 residential units and ground-floor retail, while the latter will mostly offer commercial space.

The pair are currently unfolding in Ybor’s historic district. The Elliott could soon start construction at 500 E. Kennedy Boulevard Tampa, FL, 33602, in Hillsborough County.
