Construction is expected to start soon on Sunset Palms Luxury Townhomes, a five-unit complex in one of St. Petersburg’s historic neighborhoods. The upscale three-bedroom residences will span 1,950 square feet, and each one comes with an expansive 815-square-foot rooftop that features 360-degree views of the greater St. Petersburg area.
Per St. Pete Rising, there are three floorplans to choose from at Sunset Palms Luxury Townhomes, and future residents have the option of customizing their terraces to include outdoor kitchens. Additionally, each unit comes with four parking spots for guests, a private two-car garage, and high-end interior finishes.
Unlike some other townhome ventures emerging in Southwest Florida, Sunset Palms Luxury Townhomes will not boast any communal amenities, such as a swimming pool. Yet, the site itself is directly across from Unit Park, which offers a children’s playground and outdoor green space.
At the time of publication, our sources indicated that homes started at $984,750 and would increase by $10,000 for each home sold. Completion is scheduled for next summer. Max and Kaitlin Vollmer, a husband-and-wife developer team, purchased the one-story house on the property to make the project possible.
Redfin reports that the house sold for $400,000 in July 2023. The developers are working with Tampa-based Kelner Homes on the venture. Sunset Palms Luxury Townhomes is set for construction at 375 13th Street North, St. Petersburg, FL, 33705, in Pinellas County.
