Construction continues to advance on Okan Tower, a 70-story mixed-use building under development at 555 North Miami Avenue in Downtown Miami. Designed by Behar Font & Partners and developed by Okan Group, the 902-foot-tall, 914,124-square-foot structure will include 399 residences, a 316-key hotel, 64,000 square feet of Class A office space, and a range of indoor and outdoor amenities. The tower is being constructed on a 0.86-acre corner plot bordered by North Miami Avenue to the west and Northeast 6th Street to the north. Witkin Hults + Partners serves as the landscape architect.
Jacob Companies, the project’s general contractor, shared recent photos on Instagram last week that provide a detailed look at the site’s ongoing construction activities.

The images show workers engaged in various stages of the building process, including installing rebar and forming concrete slabs. The pouring of columns in the site’s northeast corner is visible, as is the progress on the south wall. Additionally, the photos depict the layout of the conduit and the meticulous work being done to form and pour the slabs that will support the structure as it rises. The construction team is making significant strides in the tower’s structural phase in collaboration with Okan Construction, Moore Group, Efco Forming, and US American Concrete. We expect it to gain substantial height and impact the skyline towards the end of the year or early next year.
Okan Tower’s residential offerings are divided between 163 condominium units on floors 51 through 70, tailored for private residences, and 236 condo-hotel units on floors 36 to 50, designed for short-term rentals with the amenities and services of a luxury hotel. These units range in size from efficient studios starting at 447 square feet to expansive three-bedroom residences reaching up to 2,183 square feet.
Construction is expected to be completed in 2027.

never-ending project.. no hope.!!
This is the dumbest waste of money. Building it literally right on top of another building so each floor will have new view and then the front side of the building is facing another new building so again no view from there. You’ll only get views on the side facing the airport. Looks pretty but it will be a waste of money for movers and who wants to own or rent short term in a building that also has hotel rooms 🤢
Okan Tower is really close to jail and it will be built right next Downtown 5th. One side of the Okan Tower is facing directly on to jail on Downtown 5th.
I like to read never-ending fairy-tales:))
My question is how many elevators servicing 70 stories and 399 units? How long will you have to wait for an elevator?
No money, no honey!
