ANF has completed construction on the second phase of Superior Manor Apartments, a 76-unit affordable housing development in Miami’s Liberty City neighborhood. This project was developed by New Urban Development, the real estate affiliate of the Urban League of Greater Miami.

Superior Manor Apartments Phase II provides affordable housing for residents earning at or below 60% of the Area Median Income (AMI), with rents ranging from $459 to $1,078. This phase expands on the existing 139-unit Phase I development, completed in 2018, which primarily serves senior residents.

The design for Superior Manor Apartments Phase II incorporates bold geometric forms and vibrant colors that give the buildings a dynamic, contemporary appearance. The four-story structures feature a mix of red, yellow, and blue accents on the facades, contrasted with a neutral white base. The buildings are characterized by clean lines, prominent balconies, and expansive windows

“Superior Manor Apartments Phase II represents a significant step forward in addressing the critical need for affordable housing in Miami-Dade County,” said Al Fernandez, CEO of ANF. “This project ensures quality housing for families and contributes to the revitalization of Liberty City. We’re proud to deliver a project that harmonizes affordability with state-of-the-art features, creating a dynamic community where residents can prosper.”

Located at 2349 Northwest 51st Street, Phase II consists of two 4-story buildings offering a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom units ranging from 750 to 1,400 square feet. Each apartment features private balconies and modern appliances, and residents have access to amenities such as a fitness center, community clubhouse, tot lot, co-working spaces, and a rooftop deck.

Financing for the $28,546,015 development included $3,030,000 from Miami-Dade County’s Surtax funding and $831,000 from the Development Inflation Adjustment Fund (DIAF). The grand opening of Superior Manor Apartments Phase II was celebrated on July 23rd, attended by Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, District 3 Commissioner Keon Hardemon, and Congresswoman Frederica S. Wilson.
