Jacksonville-based Dream Finders Homes has plans for a multi-family housing development in Duval County. Exchange at Cedar Creek will comprise 390 residences divided amongst 21 buildings. The Jacksonville Business Journal notes that the developer filed permits for one of the buildings on Friday––a three-story, 39,100-square-foot structure.
It also notes that the community is an extension of another residential development near Jacksonville International Airport. Amenities include a swimming pool, more than 700 parking spots, and a one-story, 5,000-square-foot clubhouse. The clubhouse and first building are expected to cost more than $3.2 million to complete. Exchange at Cedar Creek will occupy a 24-acre parcel that Dream Finders Homes acquired for $3.5 million in 2023. Involved parties in the venture include locally based England-Thims & Miller (the project’s engineer) and Hathaway Construction Services.
Exchange at Cedar Creek isn’t the only multi-family housing development taking shape in Duval County. Recently, Florida YIMBY reported on Magnolia Villas, an affordable housing complex. Construction’s expected to start on the project by the end of this year, and it’ll feature a host of on-site amenities for residents, including a swimming pool, fitness center, and yoga studio.
Exchange at Cedar Creek will be located at 14105 Epply Drive, Jacksonville, FL, 32218, in Duval County.
