Tennessee-based 3H Group is moving forward with a hospitality venture in Jacksonville. The project is called Hyatt Studios, and it would measure four stories above grade and offer 122 rooms.
According to Hotel Project Leads, “Hyatt Studios hotels rooms emulate studio apartments offering dedicated space to work, with amenities to relax or dine.” As of September 16th, the Jacksonville Business Journal reported that the city was still reviewing the developer’s site plans.
Slated for completion in 2025, Hyatt Studios will join the developer’s portfolio of 20 properties. Previously, it’s partnered with brands such as Hilton, IHG, Choice, and Marriot on various hospitality-based ventures. One of its most recent projects include Fairfield Inn & Suites Jacksonville West, a two-star hotel.
Still, Hyatt Studios isn’t the only hotel evolving in the Sunshine State right now. Two weeks ago, Florida YIMBY reported on the Dolce by Wyndham Miami, a five-story venture offering 90 rooms. It will occupy a 15,000-square-foot site previously home to a now-demolished condo. Construction is ongoing.
Hyatt Studios will be located at 11565 Village Crossing Drive, Jacksonville, FL, 32256, in Duval County. It’ll be located near two new developments: The Block Jax and Village Crossing Center.
