Convivial St. Petersburg has yet to break ground, but upon completion, it’ll offer homes for both independent seniors and those in need of assisted living services.

The Tampa Bay Business Journal reports that Convivial Life’s 218-unit community will offer 170 independent living units and 48 assisted living units. The project’s website notes that homes span one-bedroom to three-bedroom floorplans, with the smallest units starting at 1,065 square feet.

Conceptual renderings show that residences come with wood-style plank flooring and venetian blinds; residents will have the option of customizing certain aspects of their homes, from cabinets to fixtures to the floors themselves. St. Pete Rising notes that each home will also come with a balcony with views “overlooking the coastal waterway, the Sunshine Skyway Bridge, and the redevelopment of Tropicana Field”.

There are many communal amenities at Convivial St. Petersburg; just a sampling includes a fitness center, 116-seat auditorium and theater, and heated rooftop swimming pool with cabanas. Venice-based non-profit Convivial Life acquired the community’s 5.25-acre build site for $21.4 million. The project was originally called The Manhattan St. Petersburg.

Convivial St. Petersburg will be located at 4595 34th Street South, St. Petersburg, FL, 33711, in Pinellas County. Google Earth’s renderings show that a McDonald’s is on the parcel.
