OG Enterprises has plans to start with the second phase of the Waves District in Cape Canaveral, Florida.
The multi-million-dollar addition, which would be the second of the mixed-use project’s four phases, is currently in its design and permitting stages. Yet, the Orlando Business Journal reveals that the expansion would feature 18,000 square feet of commercial space––8,000 square feet of which would comprise the Destination Downtown Food Hall, a food hall made up of various local and independently owned vendors.

Construction is anticipated to start on the single-story commercial building by the end of this year. The Waves District will cost $50 million to complete. According to the project’s website, the third phase will include a six-story vacation apartment building with a swimming pool; the fourth phase will also offer a six-story vacation apartment, sans the swimming pool. Between the two of them, they will offer 104 residential units that could offer both short and long-term accommodations.
Morgan & Associates Consulting Engineers Inc. is the project’s engineer and surveyor. Melbourne-based Meld Studio Architecture is the architect, although it’s suggested that the developer could be working with another out-of-state architect on the venture’s food hall.
The Waves District is located at 8801 Astronaut Boulevard/A1A, Cape Canaveral, FL, 32920, in Brevard County.
