Kolter Urban hopes to move forward with a luxury condo development on St. Pete Beach. Its project calls for 162 condos spread across four buildings, with 111 units occupying two buildings.
The Tampa Bay Business Journal shares that in addition to the residential aspect, Kolter Urban also wants to proceed with a 4,000-square-foot restaurant and 8,500 square feet of waterfront retail space on the 4.8-acre site. The publication notes that other features include about 40 boat slips, 334 surface parking spots, and a public park and plaza.
This isn’t the first time a developer has made plans for the build site. In 2015, South Florida-based Ram Realty wanted to proceed with 243 apartments, a restaurant, and commercial space. Yet, the organization decided not to proceed. Furthermore, this isn’t the only project in Kolter Urban’s pipeline. Recently, Florida YIMBY reported on Art House St. Petersburg, a 42-story tower offering 244 luxury condos and penthouses.
A community meeting to discuss the 162-unit development will take place on Presidents’ Day at the Sirata Beach Resort. If approved, it would occupy a mostly vacant plot at the end of Corey Avenue in St. Pete Beach, FL.
